Ampeau's white Burgundy's are truly exceptional wines that best some of the top producers. Built for age, these are still remarkably fresh. Made by Michel Ampeau and like all of his wines, they need some time to open up. After exposed to oxygen they last a unexpected amount of time; I've drank a bottle of this over two days before and it was just as good, if not better the second day. Once again this is also ex-domaine, stored in some of the coldest cellars in Burgundy, and released just for us. His top Meursault Perrier vintage to date, reaching Grand Cru quality and excellence.
