NV Miniere F & R Champagne Influence Brut Rose

$49.99
NV Miniere F & R Champagne Influence Brut Rose

The Rose Version of Minieres trademark wine, Influence rose is a vineyard driven and racy Rose with generous fruit intertwined with an expressive minerality. This release has been tweaked slightly from the last bottling blending 79% juice from 2014 and 21% 2013 with a lower dosage landing at 4.5gr/l. A cepages of 35% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Meunier, and 30% Pinot Noir suppling a mélange of red fruits and lush mouth feel from the Pinot's that trails into a precise and elegant Chardonnay inspired finish. The Fruit is sourced from the Lieu-dits Les Fosselles where Pinot Noir was planted in 1957, La Couturelle for Pinot Meunier planted between 1986-1993, and les Fosselles again for Chardonnay planted in 2003 all located on Hermonville just outside of Reims in the Marne sector. The Juice is fermented and aged barrel where malolactic fermentation is blocked giving it a linear acidity but is complemented by slight battonage improving richness and texture. A bottle of finesse that checks off all the boxes for what makes rose such a pleasure to drink and possible one of the best releases of this Champagne to date.
