It has been hard to keep Sancerre values in stock due to some supply chain issues, but we were able to get more of one of our favorites. A gorgeous Sauvignon Blanc from vineyard recently converted to biodynamic, and this is the perfect wine to sip on while relaxing and enjoying a few bites. An excellent value for anyone that enjoys fresh mineral-driven wines like Chablis and dry Riesling, these bottles have recently arrived at our warehouse and won't last long.

This is a gorgeous Sancerre from a Domaine established in 1670, located in the tiny hamlet of Verdigny, where they have been working the vineyards organically for many years. The 2019 is a historic vintage for the Domaine, representing when the vines were converted by 13th generation winemaker Julien Thomas to bio-dynamic viticulture. This Sancerre is vinified in the stainless steel tanks, where it is then left on the lees for extended aging and batonage for about six months. The Les Creots vineyard has pebbled limestone soils that transfer to the glass with aromas of gooseberries, citrus, dried herb, and expressive minerals. The palate is very clean and pure with good richness, depth, and complexity with lingering notes of apple skin, citrus, saline, and limestone minerality. There is much to love here with its fresh and focused mineral tense style, which we like to see from Sancerre. It is an incredible value for those that like energetic white wines and one of the best Sancerres we have tasted at this level.
