Percarlo from San Guisto a Rentennano is one of the ultimate expressions of the Sangiovese Grape and is consistently one of the best examples in Tuscany annually. 2018 is a fantastic example of Percarlo, and we were able to get a few cases at this very low pricing. While Percarlo can be a wine of intensity, power, and structure, 2018 leans toward more of an elegant style, showing excellent finesse in this vintage with beautiful energy and precision. 2018 was one of the best examples of Percarlo right out of the gate, but don't mistake that for lack of structure because this still has decades of life left and is showing better than ever now. This is a vintage not-to-miss for Percarlo fans, and at this low pricing, it is a great buy.

It shows remarkably well for a wine that was bottled only recently. The 2018 was aged in a combination of 30HL casks and 500-liter tonneaux."
