We are continuing to mine local supplier’s inventory for looked over gems and found this fun bottle. We asked for a sample to taste and are happy to report it’s a beauty. This wine comes from vines planted in 1958, and it’s the best wine from Michel Briday’s cellar. The wine possesses stunning vineyard driven aromatics of chalk, white flowers, stone fruits, and liquid minerals. The palate is very fresh and lively with good richness, and flavors of with lemon, minerals, toffee, and saline. The finish is lingering, and there is excellent balance as well here. This wine sees about 20% new oak, and is not cold stabilized.
A killer white Burgundy for the price quality!
