A fantastic buy and one of our favorites in the Bourgogne Blanc Category; we have a bit more of that just arrived in stock after being sold out for a few months. The 2020 Les Parties was our best-selling Bourgogne Blanc ever, but we love the 2022 because it's even better. The Guillemard family are third-generation grape growers, and in 2003, Corine Guillemard established the Domaine, opting out of the contracts to sell their grapes. They own 10 hectares of vines, which they farm sustainably with double-sorted fruit before Corine barrel ferments it with indigenous yeasts and a very low percentage of new oak. Their Bourgogne Blanc "Les Parties' vines are located in the village of Puligny and abut the Lieu dix 'Les Houlieres.' This wine is essentially a village Puligny sold as a Bourgogne Blanc, and it's outstanding. The wine possesses aromas of stone fruits, fresh apples, liquid minerals, and white flowers. The palate has incredible vibrancy, ample depth, and perfect balance with lingering notes of calcite, citrus, peach, pear, saline, and a touch of spice. This is the ultimate cellar saver or daily drinker that will satisfy both the Classic European palate as well as the more modern domestic one. We know Burgundy prices have gone up a lot in the last few years, so we needed to dig deep to find an insider gem, and this one does it all in spades.
