1964 Marchesi di Barolo Barolo

$129.99
1964 Marchesi di Barolo Barolo
We have a limited amount of the 1964 Marchesi di Barolo available, which are due to arrive in the Fall. An excellent vintage for this wine, these are our last bottles at this great price, and if you love older Barolo, this is one to buy. Also, for those that have an upcoming 60th birthday, this is a great bottle to commemorate the occasion.

We found a beautiful lot of Barolo from Marchesi di Barolo, a producer we have lots of older vintage success with in the past. 1964 is a fantastic vintage for Piedmonte and is a part of a period that we like to refer to as the golden era. Some of the best wines to come out of Barolo were made during this time, and the 1964 Marchesi is no exception. A wine that is in a perfect spot for drinking and for those who love older Barolo, it's a must-try. As we have said before, Barolo pricing is much more attractive than Burgundy or Bordeaux from an equally good vintage with age and are still some of the best old-world buys to this day. The 1964 has many great recent notes on Cellartacker with an average score of 91.5, and we have friendly pricing here on bottles that are in excellent condition. Don't miss them!
