1985 Cantina Terre Del Barolo Barolo

$89.99
1985 Cantina Terre Del Barolo Barolo
We have an excellent vintage of Terre del Barolo available today in perfect condition (pictured above). These bottles were purchased directly from the cellars in Barolo before being stored in a local cold cellar for many years and have been properly inspected. The Produced by Cantina Terre Del Barolo, a cooperative winery established in 1958 in the Piedmont region of Italy. The cooperative represents approximately 300 growers, managing over 600 hectares of vineyards, and the work combined allows for many small growers to sell their fruit without having to front the money for a winemaking facility and allows them to make a living growing grapes. The 1985 vintage is considered an excellent year for Barolo, with favorable weather conditions leading to high-quality Nebbiolo grapes. It's a fantastic year and one of the few vintages that is excellent across many regions. The winemaking style here is traditional and typically involves long maceration periods and aging in large Slavonian oak casks, resulting in a robust and complex wine. The Cantina Terre Del Barolo is known for producing traditional Barolo wines that reflect the rich history and terroir of the region at a very affordable price. It's also a rare find, and we have some of the only bottles in the world right now.
