We tasted this wine yesterday and were amazed at how well it was showing. Definitely mature with a note of pungent minerality, apricot pit, ripe pear, spice, and stone fruit blossoms. This is a big wine that is still alive and drank very well over two hours. If you wonder what great aged white burgundy should taste like and don't want to spend thousands of dollars a bottle, we can't think of a better wine to experience! Don't miss the only bottles available in the USA!

Here is a rare back vintage bottle of white Burgundy at incredible pricing. A valued friend of ours recently tried a bottle of this and said it was impressively fresh and drinking seriously well for a wine at this price point. Deals like this are rare, and we never waste the opportunity to offer a back vintage value. This wine is still a light yellow and is just barely developing some golden hues, and still has youthful acidity. 1990 was before many of the pre-mox problems started to arise in Burgundy, and this bottle is a testament to that earlier time. The Montagny vineyard is located in the Southern Cote Chalonaise, most famously made by J.M. Boillot. The 1990 Montagny from Domaine de La Tour is a great example of properly aged White Burgundy that can be enjoyed without breaking the bank. This is an excellent bottle for the White Burgundy drinker looking for value and, at the same time, a perfect choice for those looking for something with age to drink now.
