Domaine Louis Remy, under the guidance of Chanthal Remy, produces very elegant and feminine wines. A large portion of the domaines wines are held back in order to offer back vintages which is the case here. They are ultra-terrior driven with and very light handed with a firm core. They have a classic longevity and tend to put on some weight in the bottle. The 2007 is a wonderful vintage to drink now over the next decade. This is the first time we have ever offered this wine, and there is lots of class and refinement in this 2007 Clos de la Roche. The bottles are coming directly from their cellars
Jancis Robinson 18 points! Rich and sweet and exciting. Long and opulent. Some structure but mainly masses of ripe fruit. Very long. Hint of coffee. Good tension as well as all that sweetness. A very particular style...! Reverberates and how!
