2008 De Saint Gall Champagne Grand Cru Cuvée Orpale Blanc de Blancs

$89.99
2008 De Saint Gall Champagne Grand Cru Cuvée Orpale Blanc de Blancs
A Champagne we haven't offered in a while, the 2008 looks to be a fantastic vintage for the Cuvee Orpale Blanc de Blancs, which is the Tete de Cuvee from this excellent co-op producer. A few years ago, we worked with the 2002 and 2004, which were great bottles that many of our clients loved, showing excellent grand cru weight at reasonable pricing, and this follows that same path. The Cuvee Orpale is sourced from some of the best Villages in the Cote de Blancs and is one of the few Grand Cru 2008s available for under $100 right now. A recent release, it is a beautiful display of the vintage after receiving extended time on the lees, carrying grand marque quality at grower pricing.
Jancis Robinson and Champagne expert Richard Juhlin have been fans of this producer for many years, with James Suckling joining the group recently with more hefty praise. This is a laser beam-focused Tete de Cuvee at a fraction of the price of others on the market today and has a nice CellarTracker community score of 92.4. ts always fun being able to bring a great Champagne like this at USA low pricing, and coming directly from their cellars is just a bonus. We have some of the only bottles available in the Country right now, and it is a 2008 Champagne not to miss.
