One of the rarest selections from Paul Bara, this sold out quickly after our last offer, and these are our last bottles available for those who missed out or wanted to grab another. This is going to be one of the best examples of the Annonciade ever from Paul Bara, and at this low pricing, it's an incredible buy for Grand Cru Grower Champagne.
The 2008 has the potential to be the greatest example of this cuvee ever from Paul Bara. Annonciade is from Bara's oldest Pinot Noir vines that are, on average, 50+ years old and also spends the longest time out of all their cuvees in the cellar—aging in barrel for six months before spending 10+ years on the lees before release. Named after one of the founding women of the Bara estate, this cuvee is the ultimate example from Paul Bara and a stunning expression of Pinot Noir from Bouzy. This shows the gourmand expression of Pinot Noir with ripe red and orchard fruits, buttered biscuits, and exotic spice notes. The palate shows excellent intensity and tension while being harmonious and textured, finishing long with palate staining dry extract. This fantastic and rare find from one of the best growers in Bouzy, the Annonciade, is a Champagne that rarely makes it out of Europe due to limited production. 2008 is the most recent release of this cuvee, and we have exceptional pricing today, even lower than the '06 and '07 releases. Quantity here is limited, so don't miss out on this Brilliant Tete de Cuvee!
