Mesnillésime is Guy Charlemagne's Tete de Cuvee from their oldest vines in Mesnil Sur Oger. Hand Harvested, basket pressed, no malolactic fermentation, partial Oak aging, extended time on the lees, and dosed at four grams make this a recipe for success. A stunning bottle that is decidedly mineral-driven, and as the name suggests, it's all about showing off Mesnil's chalky soil. This Champagne can be rather challenging to find, and at the moment, we are the only ones in the States that are offering this Champagne. For those that have ventured into the Guy Charlemagne line up or fans of Blanc de Blancs, this will not disappoint. The Mesnillésime was released last year, and we have a few cases left that have arrived in our warehouse. Quantity is limited, and this is the last of the 2012 vintage, which has turned out to be quite epic for this Champagne!
