2013 Capture Wines Alliance

$29.99
2013 Capture Wines Alliance
We have a few cases of our best deal from Napa of the year, and there's no better time to grab a bottle of this incredible back vintage Cab. Pricing here is far below what this usually goes for and is an excellent choice for those looking for a bottle to drink right away. Check our original review below.

We were able to get some incredible special pricing on this brilliant Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. Established in 2008, Capture brings Bordeaux inspiration to the high elevation vineyards of the Mayacamas Mountains in Napa Valley. Many of the vineyards Capture works with are between 1,100 and 1,900 feet of elevation. This winery utilizes traditional French winemaking that wouldn't be out of place in a cellar in Bordeaux. The blend for this bottle is 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc which is aged in 45% new French oak for 18 months and was the last vintage to be made by Iconic winemaker Denis Malbec, who died in 2016. A delicious array of red and black fruits, violets, herbs, and earth, with a high elevation thread of elegance, weaves it together. The palate is dense and fresh from the acidity with well-integrated tannins from the time spent in the bottle. Drinking great now, this should continue to develop very well over the medium term. The 2013 Capture Cabernet is a tremendous value for Napa that gives the best of both worlds with excellent fruit, but while being structured and elegant. There are some great notes on Cellartracker for this wine with a Score of 92.2, which is impressive. Capture Alliance contends with bottles 2 to 3 times the price and appeals to both the new world and old world drinker and is a no brainer at this special holiday pricing, don't miss it!
