Here's a fun one to start the weekend off, a back vintage of White Burgundy in a drinking beautifully. Age has done this wine well, truly flourishing since its release. After tasting a bottle this past week, we felt like we found a treasure. This combination of age, producer, vineyard, and the price is rare in Burgundy. A gorgeous wine with aromas of orchard blossoms, stone fruits, lemon curd, minerals, and a touch of spice. On the palate, the peach, nectarine, and lime flavors are accented by minerals, underbrush, and a saline finish. A nice bottle of premier cru white Burgundy at a great price, drinking very well and just starting to develop some beautiful secondary characteristics.
