We have a limited amount of this lovely late-release Vaucrains from Jadot. The 2013 vintage produced a tiny crop, resulting in classic, vineyard-driven red Burgundies. This vintage is known for its transparency and aging potential, and after a decade, it has become approachable while retaining its freshness. Compared to the riper 2018, 2019, and 2020 vintages, 2013 offers a more refreshing, classic profile. We recently tasted this late-release bottle from the Domaine, and it was exceptional. It displays lovely aromas of red and blue fruits, soil tones, tea leaves, game, spices, and red flowers. The balance is impeccable, with crystalline flavors that penetrate the palate with vibrancy and refined tannins, finishing long with plenty of dry extracts. A truly classic red Burgundy—elegant, structured, and built to age another decade or more. At $99.99, it’s a rare find for an aged Premier Cru and comes highly recommended!
