One of the best buys for Tete de Cuvee Rose, the Amour de Deutz Rose is an incredible bottle that rubs shoulders with some of the top examples of the category, like Cristal and Krug Rose. While the Amour de Deutz reaches a similar level to some of Champagne's ultimate Roses, its price doesn't, and it is one of the few Grand Marque Tete de Cuvee Roses that can be had for at this low pricing. We have a limited amount of the 2015, which we have yet to offer, but we thought it would be a hit in this small format.
The Amour de Deutz Rose is the rarest of the Deutz Champagnes and typically sees a blend of 30% Chardonnay, 60% Pinot Noir, and 10% still red wine for color. This is an exciting release because 2015 is a banner vintage for both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and the combination of both should lead to some of the best bottles of the vintage, Amour de Deutz included. Slightly lower yields with optimal ripeness and richness while retaining freshness and intensity wrapped in refinement.
It is an excellent vintage for Champagne, and this is going to be a top buy for the vintage and a leading example from Deutz. We have a limited amount at this low pricing, and it is not a Rose Champagne to miss this vintage.
