The bouquet is deep, pure and sappy, wafting from the glass in a mix of red plums, black raspberries, woodsmoke, duck, raw cocoa, a very complex base of soil tones, Vosne spices and cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and notably sappy at the core, with beautiful soil signature, ripe, seamless tannins, bright acids and excellent focus and grip on the very long and energetic finish.
