Rich with an almost 2,000-year-old history, Nikolaihof was purchased by the Saahs family in 1894, remaining the present-day owners. In the cellar, which is an ancient Roman crypt, the wines ferment with natural yeasts and are left to age in 2,000 liters to 12,000-liter barrels.
