A 50/50 blend of Chapelot and Montée de Tonnerre proper, this is a great value from this top premier cru vineyards. The pricing seems to make a-lot of sense in this market for a top Chablis!
Burghound 93 Outstanding! There is a background application of wood present on the airy and pure aromas of white flowers, mineral reduction, iodine and lemon rind. I like the punch and richness to the solidly concentrated and attractively refined medium weight flavors where the supporting sap imparts a seductive mouth feel and particularly so to the tension and mineral-inflected finish that is quite dry. Like its 2018 counterpart, this is a really lovely wine of finesse and refinement.
