Burghound (Allen Meadows) 91 points (rated 4/19/19) - Soft wood influence surrounds the slightly more deeply pitched nose that somewhat grudgingly reveals aromas of violet, plum, earth and discreet spice wisps. There is better volume to the tautly muscular and stony flavors that possess focused power on the more complex and lingering finish. This very pretty effort is very Champans in character.
