A gorgeous bottle, we re-tased this over the weekend, and it is as impressive as ever. Such balance and elegance imbued with classic Meursault minerality and richness. So unyielding this has tremendous drive and is aging beautifully and only getting better. It is a must-try for the Burgundy lover!

Their Meursault Genevrieres is a flagship bottle for Latour Giraud along with their Cuvee des Pierre. The minerality, depth, and focus of this wine is outstanding. 2017 is my favorite vintage of this wine to date and one of the best efforts of Meursault I have tasted. It is well-deserving of the Burghound review below as well—an epic bottle of white Burgundy.
Allen Meadows 93 points! "A softly wooded and slightly more elegant nose displays a subtle exoticism on the cool acacia blossom, lemon, Asian-style tea and white fruit aromas. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the more evidently mineral-driven flavors that don't possess the same richness or volume but are markedly finer on the highly persistent if ever-so-mildly warm bone dry finish. This isn't quite as fine as the Bouchères but offers slightly better overall depth and persistence."
