Tasting here a few years back was one our greatest take-away's of our trip. We went here right after tasting with his father, Paul Pernot. Phillippe's wines are not far off and are very impressive. Phillippe Pernot is doing great work with his 6 hectares, making very classic wines that expose the minerality and structure of the Puligny terrior. These are stunning examples and its also fun that he is making a wine from a holding that his fathers domaine doesn't have, and a serious one at that. This pushes grand cru quality with structure and finesse, and at this price it's completely unbeatable.
