We can't think of a better wine to pair with the upcoming Thanksgiving day meal! The Thanksgiving meal can be pretty challenging wine wise, but this wine should pair extremely well. This Corsican wine is a 50-50 blend of Niellucciu and Sciaccarellu co-planted in 1973 and 74. This is a very fresh food wine that shows tons of red fruits and herbs with a very bright acidity. There's fantastic energy here that is ultimate compliment to both poultry and its heavier fixings. The fresh juiciness resembles that of Beaujolais and while not as rich, it is a pleasure to drink and will most certainly find its way to our table during the course of our celebration. The perfect easy drinker and top choice where it can be hard to choose what to serve at a meal with so many different foods.
