EFW review (rated 4/9/19) :
This is our 4th harvest working with the Vieux Telegraph olive oils, and it looks to be another great one. One of the most interesting olive oils that we've ever tasted. A Provencal twist on olive oil and one with such different nuance than its Italian brethren. High-toned, yet elegant with complex spicy nuances, that are so outrageously good in a full-bore terroir driven signature.
Different from Quintarelli's deep suave masterpiece which is another one of our favorites, different from that classic cracked pepper Tuscan character, and so so good. Of course it's done by one of Chateauneuf's old school legends in their high altitude terrain. We like to think that thanks to our clients huge interest early on it has inspired our importer Kermit Lynch to bring a greater quantity in, and this year we should have no problem filling all orders. We believe these still come in their cute wooden 6 packs, one of which wouldn't last us through an entire year. Very limited but with a good first shot to go around to all of our clients.
