2019 Domaine Servin Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses [Pre-Arrival]

$59.99
2019 Domaine Servin Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses [Pre-Arrival]
We were able to get few more cases of one of Servins top wines in the 2019 vintage. This is an incredible effort and with a little more acidity than the 2018s and is an excellent buy for Grand Cru Chablis. See our original offer and Galloni's note below.

One of Servin's top Grand Crus bottles, these very traditionally made wines have been the source of excellent Chablis values over the years. The 2019s look incredible with expressive minerality and impressive fruit while still retaining some classic Chablis character. Servin's vines for Preuses recently turned 60 years old and are planted on limestone and clay soils. As far as top price-quality Chablis goes, it is hard to beat Servin, and the Grand Crus, mainly the Preuses is a no brainer. The 2019s have some upfront appeal but will prove to be heroic with some cellar time.

Vinous (Neil Martin) 95 points! "The 2019 Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru has an exquisite bouquet that is a little fuller and feels riper than the Bougros, hints of orange blossom and apricot infusing the citrus fruit, the flintiness only becoming more apparent with aeration. The palate is extremely well balanced, delivering the tension that you expect from a Chablis. Spicier notes of ginger and lemongrass surface toward the very cohesive finish, which feels a tad sweeter than Servin's other Grand Crus this vintage. Superb."
