Jasper Morris 93-96 pts! Planted in 1931, but still gives a small, but even crop, 15 hl/ha, with one new barrel out of the three made. All destemmed. Fine pure mid purple. The nose shows the barrel at the moment, and maybe the racking. I shall ignore that because this wine is brilliant on the palate, delivering an extra level of fruit, mostly red, but with some deep dark berries infiltrating and adding an extra dimension. Fabulous length of flavour at the finish, very classy.
