Not an address we typically offer, but the wines here in 2019 are great. Brocard is one of the largest producers in Chablis, totaling 60 hectares of organic vines with 40 hectares of biodynamic vines. The wines here are typically made to be enjoyed on the younger side, with the Valourent stealing the show in 2019, even our performing the grand crus. Located next to the Grand Cru Preuses, Brocard's vines in Valourant are biodynamically grown, reaching grand cru quality at times. The 2019 Valourent is an excellent buy and should provide excellent drinking over the medium term. Big note and recommendation from Neil Martin don't miss the great pricing on this bottle.
Vinous (Neil Martin) 94 points! "The 2019 Chablis Vaulorent 1er Cru has an expressive nose of crushed stone, Mirabelle, and light honeysuckle aromas, one of the classiest from Brocard in 2019. The palate is fresh and saline on the entry, with driving acidity, superb tension and a judicious kiss of salinity on the racy finish. A great Chablis from Brocard. Recommended."
