2019 The Setting Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley 3-Pack With free ground shipping

$287.97
2019 The Setting Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley 3-Pack With free ground shipping
This is one of the most exciting new releases for California Cabernet we have come across in the last few years. A large format bottle of the Setting sold at the Emerald Lagasse Foundation Auction for $1,000,000, setting a record at auction for the most expensive single bottle sale. While the record was set by the Glass Slipper Cabernet Sauvignon, which is their most limited bottling, their Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is right up there in quality and a steal at $94.99. This is a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon that is dense and rich yet has the balance to age gracefully over the next decade or so. This winery already has a cult following, and I imagine the prices here are only going up from here because of the tremendous press they are getting, featured in magazines that aren't inherently wine related. Here is a chance to get in on the ground floor, and this wine has a couple of glowing reviews below. We will throw in free ground shipping if you buy three bottles or more—limited availability.

Wine Advocate (Erin Brooks) 97 pts! "Opaque ruby-purple in color, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley is deeply scented with Morello cherry and blueberries accented by nuances of bouquet garni, violets, dark chocolate and graphite. The full-bodied palate is powerful, with intense, concentrated fruit, loads of ripe, grainy tannins and softened acidity to carry the long finish, which is a bit warm. It's a bold, ripe style that will benefit from another 5-7 years in bottle. 1,129 cases produced."

Jeb Dunnuck 96 pts! "Ripe with cocoa, redcurrant, and candied lavender, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley is powerfully structured and true to its mountain style, with gripping tannins, forest floor, cedar, and plum. it is bold in a wonderful way that will warrant several years in bottle before opening. Drink 2025-2042. (Drink between 2025 - 2042)"
