Jasper Morris 93-95 pts! Fine pale lemon colour. The nose is tighter than Charms in one sense though the oak is a little more present. Extra intensity through the middle palate, with the more phenolic notes – in a pleasing way – of this vineyard, excellent crisp mineral acidity, and a perfect fruit intensity before the persistent finish.
Vinous (Neal Martin) 93-95 pts! The 2020 Meursault Genevrières 1er Cru has a fragrant bouquet that leaps from the glass with wonderful orange pith, grilled hazelnut and pine nuts, a touch of smoke, très Meursault. The palate is well balanced with. a fine bead of acidity, fresh and poised, quite spicy with lemongrass notes lending it an almost Asian twist on the finish. For some reason, I’m drinking this with some Pad Thai! Superb. (Drink between 2025 - 2045)
