2021 Domaine Servin Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses

$54.99
2021 Domaine Servin Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses
We have a limited amount of the new Les Preuses from Servin, a standout and one of the best Grand Crus here and on par with Les Clos this vintage. The Grand Crus from Servin are rare, and this is our first offer of this new release. 2021, while a challenging and short vintage for Chablis, has yielded some excellent fruit, with Servin making another fantastic lineup this vintage, solidifying their position among some of the best producers of Chablis. Servin has consistently produced some of the best values in Chablis over the years, and this cooler vintage is the basis for even more classically styled wines compared to the last few years that are very focused and fresh, with superb acidity and transparency of minerality.
The vines for Servins Preuses are some of the oldest of the Domaine at nearly 70 years old, planted on the textbook Kimmeridgian marl and clay. Servin works just over half a hectare of this vineyard, making one of the more limited selections from this domain. Elegant, fresh, vibrant, and palate-staining, this beautiful bottle of Les Preuses stands up to some of Chablis' greatest and, at this pricing, is the best buy for this Grand Cru vineyard this vintage. We have low pricing on a limited amount, and it is not a bottle to miss this vintage.

Wine Advocate (William Kelley) 93 pts! "Bursting with aromas of white flowers, orange blossom, oyster shell, crisp peach and pear, the 2021 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses is medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, with racy acids and an intensely saline and delicately honeyed finish. This has turned out beautiful."

Vinous (Neal Martin) 92-94 pts! "The 2021 Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru has a much more precise bouquet than the Blanchot that unfolds nicely with aeration. The palate is firm with clear acidity; the 2021 is taut and fresh with a lovely saline finish. I much prefer this Les Preuses to Blanchots this year - excellent. (Drink between 2024 - 2040)"
