This is also a great value as well, and we have the only bottles available in the USA. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eJohn Gilman 92 pts\u003c\/strong\u003e! \u003cspan\u003eMonsieur Glantenay’s 2023 Puligny-Montrachet “les Folatières” has also been assembled in tank already in anticipation of bottling in the early spring. It is a lovely example of the vintage, offering up a bright and complex bouquet of apple, white peach, orange peel, chalky soil tones, fresh almond, vanillin oak and a lovely topnote of white lilies. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and nicely soil-driven in personality, with a lovely core of fruit, a good spine of acidity, lovely focus and balance and a long, complex and very well balanced finish. Like most of the red premier crus chez Glantenay this year, the Folatières comes in at 13.5 percent octane in 2023.
