Sylvain and Nathalie Langoureau are the fifth generation of the family to work these vineyards around the hamlet of Gamay, producing small quantities of precise, classically styled white Burgundy with a restrained hand in the cellar. En Remilly is one of Saint-Aubin’s greatest vineyards, sitting high on the slope against the Montrachet hill, where thin, rocky limestone soils and cooling winds give the wine tremendous mineral tension and freshness. The 2023 combines the vintage's natural generosity with excellent energy, showing ripe orchard and citrus fruit, white flowers, and subtle oak over a long, stony, mineral-driven palate. There is nice richness here, but it remains focused and elegant, with the kind of balance that should allow it to drink beautifully now while developing further in the cellar. With pricing for top En Remilly continuing to climb, this remains one of the vineyard's strongest buys, and the combination of a late release, limited availability, and great recent CellarTracker scores makes it one of the best buys right now!

https://www.envoyerfinewines.com/products/2023-domaine-sylvain-langoureau-saint-aubin-1er-cru-en-remilly-blanc
