The base is made from Viura grown in the estate’s own vineyards and infused with a carefully selected collection of herbs, plants, spices, and citrus peels. Wormwood forms the backbone, joined by botanicals including cinchona bark, clove, licorice, cinnamon, cardamom, orange peel, and bitter chamomile, creating a complex profile without becoming overly medicinal or bitter. Unusually for an everyday vermouth, the finished blend is aged together in 225-liter oak barrels, concentrating the aromatics and adding another layer of depth before further integration in the bottle. The result is dark mahogany in color and wonderfully aromatic, with candied fruit, orange peel, mountain herbs, sweet spice, toasted nuts, and subtle roasted notes.
