Decarlo is one of Italy's Premier Olive Oil producers. We covered everything worth knowing from Decarlo. Almost a year ago, we tried a box of Tarallini, and they were absurdly delicious. We've been waiting months for our pre-order to arrive, and they are finally coming next week. For those that are not familiar, Tarallini, often called 'Tarall' for short, is a southern Italian specialty, little bite-sized crackers made with olive oil, wheat, white wine, and water. They go unbelievably well with red and white wine and are our favorite snack while tasting wine, with some Champagne and charcuterie, or something similar. These are the best version of Tarallini that we have ever tried. DeCarlo works very closely with some of the top culinary experts and chefs in Italy, collaborating to create delicious recipes. These are 100% biodynamic and organic made with Decarlos famous olive oil, wheat, and a little salt. They have a wonderful texture that is dense but flakey with a delicious note from the high-quality olive oil used and a rich wheat flavor with enough salt to amplify and bring out the exquisite simplicity. Once you eat one, it is hard to stop and is a great little gourmet snack to have on hand. These are as fresh as you can get without going to Puglia and grabbing some off the production line and are only available here!
