A beautiful Rose Champagne and one of the long-running favorites since the beginning of Envoyer. The Marc Hebrart Rose is a great example of Rose showing balance between a delicious forward style and a more serious grower interpretation. We have a few cases available of this, and it is always a good one to have on hand at home for any occasion.
Marc Hebrart Rose is one of our top-selling of all time, and like all of Hebrart's wines, it is exquisite. We have enjoyed this Cuvee countless times, and it is one of the most requested Champagnes that we offer. For many, it is an excellent buy with quality that goes far beyond its price tag, and it is made by one of the best growers in Champagne. This is a fine-tuned and elegant style of Rose, which is tightly mineral-driven but with the charming fruit from vineyards in Ay and Mareuil-sur-Ay. It is a delicious house pour with a lot of complexity and pedigree that goes well with various foods, one of our favorites being Sushi, and as a lovely appertief—an excellent choice for Rose Champagne, at the best pricing around.
Antonio Galloni 92 points! "The NV Brut Rosé is flat-out delicious. The word 'balance' is so overused in wine, but I really can't think of a better way to describe the Brut Rosé. It is not nervy nor overly rich, but just impeccable in its poise and overall harmony. A healthy amount of Pinot lends volume and intensity to this Chardonnay-based Rosé. This is the sort of wine that is opened and disappears within a few minutes. This release is a blend of vintages 2017 and 2016."
