2021 Aubry Wines Cabernet Sauvignon Les Belles Filles Vineyard

$39.99
2021 Aubry Wines Cabernet Sauvignon Les Belles Filles Vineyard

We are offering special closeout pricing on the 2021 Les Belles Filles Cabernet Sauvignon today, making it one of the best deals for classic Cab ever! This is an exceptional cool-climate Cabernet Sauvignon from a tiny one-acre vineyard in Coombsville. We worked with the 2019 vintage of this wine, and it was a big success, one of our favorites, and the '21 is just as good and has even better potential. It's a bigger, more structured wine than the elegant 2019, with loads of cassis, cherry, underbrush, and a touch of spice. The palate is dense, with incredible depth and intensity, featuring a wealth of dry extract and a long, lingering finish. This wine will age incredibly well, but if opened now, it needs to be decanted and paired with substantial food. The alcohol here is very modest at 13%, with only 4 barrels produced and 25% new oak. However, the real kicker here is that we sold the 2019 at $119.99 per bottle, yet we can offer the 2021 at a fraction of that price. At this price, it surpasses all the high-alcohol, ultra-modern Cabernets on the market and is one of the few producers attempting to craft Cabernet Sauvignon in the style of Napa's early days. If you like classic old-school Cabernet Sauvignon, this is a must-buy, and if you like Dunn, Spottswoode, Mayacamas, or Philip Togni, this wine is for you!
