Always an excellent rare find from one of the masters of Burgundy, Bruno Clavelier. There are never any bottles of this Cuvee available in the US and only a handful on CellarTracker. The fruit for this wine comes from a vineyard on Vosne-Romanee and Nuit St. Georges' border from vines that are 60 years old. It's always a remarkable wine, but it's to be expected from a producer like Clavelier. It's a very age-worthy Bourgogne Rouge, and a little cellar time will be fantastic here, but it's in a beautiful place right now and has serious old vine concentration, with great fresh fruit and terroir expression. A not-to-miss bottle from one of the top producers in Burgundy, we only have a limited amount available, so please keep that in mind!

There is once again excellent punch to the nicely textured medium weight flavors that offers fine complexity and sneaky good length. One to consider."
