N.V. Vieille France Champagne Brut Rosé

$39.99
N.V. Vieille France Champagne Brut Rosé

The Vieille France Brut Rosé has become our best-selling Rosé Champagne of all time, and we are down to our last bottles in stock. It is easy to see why this wine has built such a following, as it delivers the balance, texture, and complexity we usually expect from bottles at twice the price. Vieille France is a historic Champagne house dating back to the early 19th century, and these wines have been reintroduced to the US market after a long absence with a clear focus on quality. The Brut Rosé is composed of 55% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, and 15% Côteaux Champenois Rouge, with a dosage of around 6 g/L, which is perfect here and pairs well with the acidity, fruit, and minerality. Pale salmon in color with a fine mousse, it opens with bright red berry fruit, citrus zest, subtle brioche and a touch of sea spray, followed by a crisp, beautifully balanced palate with excellent mid-palate weight, silky texture and a long, precise finish of red fruit, dry extract and salinity. This has consistently been one of the most impressive Rosé Champagnes we have tasted at this price point, and client response has been extraordinary. These are the last bottles we have available, and once they are gone, this incredibly popular Rosé will be finished for the season!
