NV Vieille France Champagne Brut Reserve

$39.99
NV Vieille France Champagne Brut Reserve

NV Vieille France Champagne Brut Reserve is back after a year of waiting, and we were able to negotiate the pricing so we could offer it at the same price as last year. This was our favorite new Champagne discovery of 2025, and it remains an impressive bottle, easily rivaling wines at twice the price. This comes from an old Champagne house dating back to the early 19th century, which is also one of the largest vineyard owners in the region, second only to Louis Roederer. As this Champagne is being reintroduced to the U.S. market, serious attention was paid to quality, presentation, and value, including relabeling the wine and bottling it in a traditional, larger, old-school Champagne bottle. The blend is 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 30% Pinot Meunier, aged on the lees for at least three years with a dosage of 6 g/L. The aromatics are excellent, with fresh apple, nectarine, baked bread, liquid minerals, and saline notes. The palate is deep and generous, with impressive dry extract, lovely balance, great texture, and a long, driving finish. This is a fantastic Champagne find, a true overachiever for the money, and highly recommended!
