Dylan Lunstrom worked with Steve Matthiasson and bought fruit from Steve's Linda Vista vineyard for this wine.  The vines from the Linda Vista vineyard in Oak Knoll were planted in 1989 and are Selection Massale clone.  Dylan is a purist and loves elegant Racy Chardonnay, and this is precisely that in spades. The ABV here is around 12% Neutral oak is used for six months. The wine goes through partial malolactic fermentation. The wine has a lovely aroma of white Flowers, green apples, and citrus. On the palate, there is lovely energy and tons of dry extract on the long, lingering finish.  If you are tired of heavy, cloying Chardonnays that are hard to drink, or a lover of Chablis, this would be a perfect choice at an incredible price today. We liked it at $50 per bottle; now that it is $30, we absolutely love it!
