$29.99
2020 Thibault Liger-Belair Bourgogne Blanc Les Charmes Eta W/O 6-29-2026

2020 Thibault Liger-Belair Bourgogne Blanc Les Charmes is an excellent white Burgundy value from a domaine better known for serious Côte de Nuits reds, making this Chardonnay a particularly interesting bottle in the lineup. Les Charmes comes from plots in Lugny in the Mâconnais, on very white limestone soils with southern exposure, giving the wine ripe fruit while preserving the freshness and mineral cut that keep it balanced. The vines average over 40 years old and include a portion of Muscaté Chardonnay, adding a little extra aromatic lift and originality to the cuvée. The winemaking is intentionally clean and direct, with hand-harvested fruit, slow pressing, and 14 months of aging entirely in stainless steel to avoid oak influence and preserve purity. The 2020 vintage adds extra ripeness and texture, while the limestone soils and tank aging keep it fresh, bright, and easy to enjoy. This is a smart Bourgogne Blanc buy with old-vine material and far more character than the appellation usually suggests. We have low pricing on this one today, and with some nice notes on CellarTracker, this is one of the best buys for Bourgogne Blanc right now!
