Dried flowers, herbs, mint and cherry pit nuances all develop in the glass. The Grande Réserve is a bit less immediately charming than some of the other wines in the range, but it, too, has a lot to offer. Dosage is 6 grams per liter. Disgorged: June 2018."

By contrast the flavors profile is on the full-bodied side in the context of what is typical for Fourny, all wrapped in a complex, long and agreeably dry and balanced finish thanks to the fine but firm mousse. This is lovely and a wine that could be enjoyed now or held for a few more years first."
