Nicolas Potel tastes through thousands of wines until he comes across a winner, which this time was a 2000 Latricières Chambertin. The 2000 Côte de Nuits vintage produced supple, early-maturing reds that are drinking beautifully today, and Latricières’ naturally brisk profile keeps the fruit precise and energetic. Made with a classical, low-intervention approach with native yeast ferments and moderate oak, it was bottled for Bellenum with a strict emphasis on authenticity and condition.
