2023 Domaine de Marquiliani Corse Rosé Gris de Marquiliani

$29.99
2023 Domaine de Marquiliani Corse Rosé Gris de Marquiliani

The Gris is a blend of 95% Siaccarellu and 5% Syrah which does go through malolactic fermentation and is incredibly nuanced. Marquiliani's Rose's are ethereal and, in a sense, haunting and resonating. They are delicate and profound, leaving one thinking in a state of enjoyment while they slowly open up in the glass, revealing significant depth.

One of our favorite Rose's besides Tempier, Marquiliani's Rose's are exceptional and among the best examples in the world. This is an annual Rose offer for us, and the 2023 has just been released from the village of Aghione on the island of Corsica. Marquiliani is based in a 200-year-old winery that was burned down and abandoned until the Amalric family (current owners) revitalized the Domaine, planting a few indigenous Italian varietals mainly grown in Corsica and Syrah. All the vines used for these two cuvees were initially planted in 1964 and are still in use today.
These are some of the best at this price point, and over the past couple of years, they have become more tightly allocated. The 2023s are going to be a fantastic vintage for these wines, and we are offering discounted pricing for those who purchase any 6 bottles of 2023 Marquiliani!
