Stephane's wife has done an excellent job of upholding his philosophy after his passing and not getting lost in the sea of Chablis. The 2018s are a perfect example of the commitment to quality here. The Valmur is a stand-out showing the Moreau Naudet style while still imbued with that classic Chablis minerality. So fresh and complex, there is a reason while this is one of our favorite producers in Chablis. These wines have gotten relatively rare and are very challenging to find at yesterday's pricing; however, we get very close here. Valmur is one of the top wines of the Domaine, showing fantastic depth, elegance, and complexity. Just like our previous offer of Vaillons, we think that Galloni's score is a bit conservative because he tasted it out of barrel. The 2018 Valmur is an excellent effort from Moreau-Naudet, and we have pricing here that dips far below the market price, not only a great buy from this address but for Valmur period. These are due to arrive in July and are highly recommended for fans this address and vineyard.
