2019 Chateau Thivin Cote de Brouilly Magnum

$69.99
2019 Chateau Thivin Cote de Brouilly Magnum
A delicious Cote de Brouilly, the 2019 Beaujolais from what we have tasted have been exceptional. Thivin is a great producer and makes some serious wines that can age, and we have tasted as far back as 1994. Though the most exciting part about this is its upfront appeal that is so juicy and pure while simultaneously being refined and detailed. 2019 is more of a classic Beaujolais vintage and has excellent structure, so for those that like their Beaujolais with some age, this is a great pick. At the same time it is also a decisive winner for drinking now because of how well it is showing.

Wine Advocate (William Kelley) 93+ points! "Bottled a mere week before I tasted it, Thivin's 2019 Côte de Brouilly unwinds in the glass with inviting aromas of plums, red berries, warm spices and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, it's bright and precise, with fine depth at the core and real energy, concluding with a long, gently tannic finish. A touch finer-boned and more dynamic than the gourmand, demonstrative 2018, this is showing very well."
