Claire’s wines have an old World flare to them, she can’t always disclose the location or name of the vineyards she uses. Some of the fruit and barrels she sources goes into wines sold at a much higher retail price, but we love that Claire offers such amazing wines at an unbeatable value. Claire’s husband Aaron, is head winemaker at Spottswoode and Claire’s mercantile market and tasting salon are located in the heart of downtown Calistoga. She is French by blood but an absolute powerhouse in the California wine industry. We are so thrilled to offer two of Claire’s wonderful wines and hope you will enjoy them as much as we do.
