$39.99
2020 Caiarossa Aria di Caiarossa Toscana IGT Eta W/O 8-24-2026

James Suckling 95 pts! This is fresh and crunchy with notes of red and dark berries, as well as spices and citrus peel. Medium- to full-bodied. It is polished and velvety with toned acidity and a polished finish. 32% cabernet franc, 24% merlot, 19% cabernet sauvignon, 18% syrah and 7% grenache. Made from biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Try from 2026, but already beautiful.

Falstaff ( Simon Staffler) 94 pts! “Rich, almost impenetrable ruby red with slight brightening on the edges. The nose has notes of wild ripe berries and rich plum, hints of bitter chocolate and wet leather on the end. The palate is full-bodied, with fine tannins, juicy and with a long finish.”

Wine Enthusiast ( Danielle Callegari) 94 pts! The nose offers a captivating blend of nuanced fruit aromas, from Bing cherries to rhubarb to pomegranate, and then a fresh herbaceousness, with mint and fennel. On the palate, tannins guide you toward dark fruits that eventually explode into a powerfully peppery finish. A reminder that Bolgheri isn't the only part of the Maremma worth plundering, especially at this price point.”

Antonio Galloni 93 pts! The 2020 Aria di Caiarossa is dark, fleshy and super-expressive. Black cherry, mocha, new leather, licorice, spice and lavender are nicely amplified. Resonant and wonderfully deep, the 2020 Aria is showing so well today. Silky tannins wrap it all together in style. (Drink between 2023 - 2030)
