On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, focused and tangy, with lovely transparency for the vintage, a fine core, ripe tannins and a long, tangy and nascently complex finish. This is a properly structured Morgon out of the blocks and will demand some bottle age before it starts to drink with true generosity, but its future is going to be superb.
